How to Use
Cholam is one of the most versatile grains in South Indian cooking. Use it as a rice substitute for everyday meals, grind into flour for rotis and dosas, cook as upma or pongal, or prepare as a warm porridge. It has a mildly nutty, earthy flavour that pairs well with sambar, rasam, and chutneys. Cook with cold-pressed coconut oil for a clean, light finish.
For a well-rounded millet rotation through the week, pair cholam with kambu millet and barnyard millet (kuthiraivali). For a wholesome daily nutrition drink that blends multiple grains in one pack, our millet health mix is an easy place to start.
No preservatives. No artificial colour. No added flavour.
